Yoyogi Park (Yoyogi Koen)

Yoyogi Park is a large urban park where you can see the most open sky in central Tokyo. 
Combined with Meiji Shrine that lies right next to it, Yoyogi Park forms a large natural section.

The Central Square in the center of the park is a large, open grassy space.

 
The Bird Sanctuary where birds’ favorite trees are planted is a great spot for bird watching. 
A street lined with zalkova trees is perfect for walking.  In addition, fields for track & field and soccer as well as an outdoor concert stage and cycling course, etc, are attached.

Yoyogi Park is a 5 minute walk from Harajuku Station on Yamanote Line.
